- - Bought a Costco Echelon bike in 2023 with a 1-year free membership.
- - 2025 auto-renew charge; refund denied per 90-day policy; 2026 charged again.
Don't work with Echelon Fit at all.
Two years later, in 2025, they charged me again for what they called an 'auto-renewing' membership. Since the bike didn't work right from the start, I lost track of this. I didn't catch the repeated charge until 2026, when they charged me again.
Echelon has refused to refund the 2025 charge because they said it is against their company policy that I needed to cancel this membership within 90 days of their charge. Hard to cancel something I didn't sign up for or even know about!

Echelon Fitness just hung up the phone after I explained the reason for my call. Very unprofessional; they did not want to try to provide an answer or a solution. After 6 years of paying membership dues, I am very disappointed, and I would not recommend to anyone to use their products or services.

I hate my treadmill

I bought this treadmill expecting a great connected home-gym experience, but its been deeply frustrating.

Every time I have contacted technical support, I was walked through the same basic troubleshooting steps steps Ive already done dozens of times with no escalation and no technician recommendation.
As I have looked into it, online user discussions confirm that many owners struggle with firmware and tablet update problems, often needing repeated power-cycles or complex workarounds just to get updates to complete.
Many users agree there are numerous reports of connectivity issues, update failures, and poor customer service for Echelon equipment. Exactly my experience.
Ive had good experiences with some Echelon products in the past ( a bike and a rower--both of which I used my own iPad to connect), but after this treadmill and the weak support I received, Ive lost confidence in the brand and wont buy another Echelon product.

I called customer service over a week ago and explained my issue. The representative stated she would send the part with instructions on how to install it.
Never happened.
I have now been on hold for 2 hours and 31 minutes. I started at 10 and have been at position 2 for 31 minutes.
My bike will not stay on the right resistance. Sometimes it will not go past 1 and other times it goes to 40 without me adjusting the *** Either way I can't ride it.
When will I get my part? Are you refunding my monthly fee while I can't ride the bike?

my screen tablet quit getting data from ethernet port also wi-fi would not connect ,as I am a tech for verizon communications I know about data , so after reboot and power down and reset of router and trying to update firmware ,still no data from ethernet port and unable to get wi-fi working on tablet

Well to be fair I haven't spoken to anyone there yet so I don't know if the problem can be solved or not. I can get to the freestyle ride on my phone but I'd rather use a tablet which is bigger and has more real estate.
