I received an Echelon Reflect as a wedding gift. When I opened the box, it was broken, and my friend said it was past the return date.

Verified Reviewer |Selling Ellipticals that. DO NOT Work
Avoid buying from Echelon at all costs!
7 months and 3 different ellipticals, none that have ever worked. And they are still selling them!
Buyer beware!
We purchased an Elliptical in October 2023 along with the delivery & set up. That machine never worked. Dozens of calls and emails later as well as troubleshooting with their IT for a few hours, and they had the defective machine picked up, replaced and set-up with a 2nd machine.
The 2nd machine didn't work either. Dozens of emails and numerous phone calls later and they have the 2nd defective machine removed, and replaced and set up with a 3rd machine.
The 3rd machine does not work either.
Dozens of emails, several phone calls and another marathon troubleshooting session with their IT, and still no working machine.
I filed formal complaints with the FTC and the NV Attorney General, which I let Echelon know that I did yesterday.
Now, today, they are finally taking me seriously after several dozen hours of back and forth with them and the delivery/set-up company over the past 7 months.
They finally stated the elliptical machines do not work and there is no fix.
They said the only option at this time is a refund and returning the 3rd defective machine.
Yet, they are still selling the elliptical 8S on their website as well as at least 11 other websites that I found.
This is fraud at its finest people. They continue to knowingly sell ellipticals that do not work!
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!

Don’t bother
Support is responsive with no resolutions to your problem. They offer suggestions for you to purchase parts and not have it resolve your issue when something goes wrong with your purchase.
If you need assistance with a broken product youre better off using a third party or better yet not purchasing from them as they only offer a standard one year warranty.

Rower logs in as my bike and I can’t get a single response from customer service. Zen Desk is awful! Wont connect me to an agent.
Help with my issue! I pay $400 a year for a membership and cant get any support!
Nothing but a circle of automated Q&A that always ends at the beginning again.

Hi. I would just like to be able to use my membership.
I have not been able to do live classes and now can't do any of the classes. When I try to login in or connect it only shows the submit bar partially and will not work.

My app update hasn't worked for three months and I have been caught in a ridiculous conversation with a bot. I try everything it tells me to do, which doesn't work, I send in the info it requests, and then it just starts over again with the same set of instructions.
I ask what to do to get this elevated and nothing happens. Horrible customer service - in fact, it doesn't exist!

Im very disappointed with Sweatband the company I brought it from,
they don't have a clue about what they are selling and told me I have to wait for Echelon to get in touch with me. Only after my complain on here, they emailed me.
Even if I did a subscription, to use my own rower and If I wanted to cancel, how difficult would that be. I cant even get connected to Bluetooth and there is NO resistance. So at the moment I have this big machine taking up room and cant even use.
And Im weeks behind with my exercise. I need straight forward answers by the end of this week or I will be returning it.

Echelon Row-S / unable to update app
There is known issue which prevents you from being able to update the app via your WIFI. There is a half-ass work around that only works via hotspot for certain carriers (Verizon isnt one of them).
The company cant provide an eta on a fix and apologizes. One of their help support threads on their FAQs recommended doing a factory reset, which we did. We are now stuck with the first iteration of the app and can no longer update our mounted tablet. Customer service cant provide a solution or an eta on a fix.
We pay $399.99 for an annual subscription. Paying customers are not a priority.
